Lorem Ipsum is simply dummy text of the printing and typesetting industry. Lorem Ipsum has been the industry’s standard dummy text ever since the 1500s, when an unknown printer took a galley of type and scrambled it to make a type specimen book. It has survived not only five centuries, but also the leap into electronic typesetting, remaining essentially unchanged. It was popularised in the 1960s with the release of Letraset sheets containing Lorem Ipsum passages, and more recently with desktop publishing software like Aldus PageMaker including versions of Lorem Ipsum.
Well, darlings, it looks like Wolfe Point just got a little more interesting. With the passing of dear Sarah-Beth, her granddaughter, none other than Hannah Wilkins herself, has returned to town. And my, oh my, hasn’t she made quite the entrance.
Spotted last night wrapped up in the arms of our very own Sheriff, Maverick Brennan, after his shift, Hannah didn’t exactly keep a low profile. And if that wasn’t enough to set tongues wagging, he was seen this very morning on her veranda in nothing but his unmentionables. Coffee? Comfort? A bit of both? Who’s to say… but I’m willing to bet they’ve found plenty to console each other with.
One thing’s for certain: the waves aren’t the only thing crashing in Wolfe Point this week.
Wolfe Point is in an uproar this week after Fanny Lawson reported that her treasured frog lawn ornament has been stolen right from her yard.
“This frog has been in my family for generations,” Fanny lamented with a tear welling in her eye as she clutched her pearls. “I’ve let my family, and the town, down.”
We’ve reached out to Sheriff Brennan for comment, but as of press time, he has remained silent on the matter. Some residents have suggested the Sheriff may be otherwise occupied these days with being seen kissing his girlfriend all over town.
Perhaps if he spent less time puckering up and more time protecting Wolfe Point, we wouldn’t be knee-deep in amphibian thievery. The time has come to a stand against crime, or step down, Sheriff.
